Discards ( blackjack)

The cards which have already been played since the last shuffle.
They are placed by the dealer in a discard tray on the left
side of the table from the player's perspective.



Discards ( poker )

1) The thrown-away cards, sometimes together with
the un-dealt cards that remain in the deck. Sometimes called muck.

2) The area on the poker table where discards lie,
prior to being gathered together for the next deal.
