Draw Dead ( poker )


Draw to a hand that cannot win even if made; sometimes followed by to when referring to the other hand.
In lowball, if the other guy has a wheel, and you draw one to a 6-4, you're drawing dead, because you can't win,
even if you jam up the hand (make it perfect). You are drawing dead to his hand.
