Hit the Deck ( poker )


1) Draw one or more cards. "When he stood pat, I knew I had to hit the deck.
" In lowball, usually implies a one-card draw.

2) Make a hand. "Things have been running so bad for me the only time
I can hit the deck is when I'm drawing dead.
