Jump the Cut ( poker )


Hop the cut (Replace the cards in the same order as they were prior to the cut.
This is a slSeven-of-hand maneuver by a card mechanic to negate the effect of the cut.
Also called elevator the cut, jump the cut, make a pass, shift the cut).
