1) $5 or a $5 poker chip. Also called a red or a redbird.
2) A 5. In high poker, three nickels means three 5s.
3) In lowball, having a 5 as the second highest card. A nickel 8 is an 8-5.Five dollars, usually represented by a red casino check.
