Poverty Poker Dictionary ( poker )
A form of poker, usually found only in home or private games,
in which a player is given a free buy-in, after going broke,
on which to continue playing. Usually that buy-in must be returned
to the source if the player wins, and the player must quit if
he loses the free buy-in. The source for such funds either comes
from a direct contribution at the time by the other players,
or, more frequently, by cutting money from each pot, which money
goes toward a special fund to be used for this particular purpose.
